The Portrait of a Lady

The story has a sprinkle of  humour, simplicity ,traces of love, friendship and affection.I liked the nature of the grandmother which was less effected by change. When she was in village she used to feed dogs and when she came to the city leaving behind her calm and peaceful life she used to feed sparrows ,which was the happiest moment for her.I also liked the way the author has not accepted his regret that still remains in his heart but he has expressed it in a very fine manner. the title of  narrative should be such that generates curiosity of the reader and  the title The Portrait of a Lady is capable of doing so.

reading this story was a good expereince.
